Warren Keats was brought up in Heidelberg West, born and bred into the famous Keats family of country music. Later becoming guitarist for the late Laurie Allen just before he passed away, he is in my opinion a musical genius. It has taken me a long time but I finally got him to let me put my favourite clip of him up on my Youtube page. On this clip he not only sing a song he wrote but plays every musical instrument and does his own harmonies ( a lesson learnt from Laurie Allen) and to top that off he edited the film clip to make a pretty good clip, unfortunately he had to size the clip down a bit so the quality is not as good as the original but it is a very clever little clip.. http://www.youtube.com/BonnieLBW

Blogging, this is something I took quite awhile getting the gist of, and I am not sure I really have it all yet but I think it is a good way to get your interests out there and it certainly is a great interest to have in it itself so seeing as music is a great interest of mine, I thought I would have a go… so here it is….
This certificate was given to me by an uncle of mine when I was doing my family tree, it is a certificate that was sent to my Grandmother when her husband was killed in action in World War 1 by the City Of Brunswick. dated 12.2.1920
I found this photo of the Brunswick Football Club amongst my fathers belongings after he passed away, or I think it is the Brunswick Football Club as I know he did play with them for a short time and he is in this photo, I hope maybe it has interest to other people I have no idea what year this was.

I went to Brunswick Girls School for 3 years, one of those years which I can’t quite remember what year it was out class was told we were not going to be able to purchase a class photo, the Headmistress at the time said that someone was poking their tongue out so no-one was going to be allowed to have a copy, no big drama on the day. Years later there was a reunion at the school, I went along with a friend I was still in contact with from Brunny Girls. On a table ther was an album of sbhool photos, so we went through them and there was the photo that no-one was allowed to have, we looked for the tongue that caused the upset, but as far as we could se not one person was poking their tongue out. Ever since we made that discovery I have wondered why the Headmistress would have denied the whole class from having their class photo.
Now that the school has been pulled down I often wonder where that book would have gone, did someone just take it home, was it chucked out or was it sent to some Educational Services department. I would love to know it any one has the answers.
Isn’t it amazing how local Councils have changed their minds about water tanks for homes..just over the last month I have met 2 people who do not know one another, live in different Council areas who just a couple of years ago requested permission to install their own water tanks but were refused permittion by their Council, how things have changed, both parties have jacked up now and both have said …No I wasn’t allowed when I wanted one…..Councils should listen to the people they are representing more often.
